In 1998, Ryan International began year-round passenger service for the North American Leisure Group and Skyservice USA to Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii, Mexico, Orlando Florida, out of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver and Honolulu. They operated  two Airbus A-320s and two McDonnell-Douglas DC-10 aircraft.

In a recent shift of marketing strategy, SunTrips relocated all DC-10 operations to San Francisco to concentrate on routes to Hawaii and Mexico.
