Applicant Background Information

To meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) security regulations [CFR Part 107.31 and Part 108.33], Ryan International Airlines must conduct a complete 10-year employment history verification and possibly a criminal record check on all personnel.  Please provide us with the complete name, address and phone number for each of your previous employers/ educational institutions, listing your most recent employer/school first.   We must be able to account for every month within the past 10 years.  Include any periods of unemployment during this time-period.  

Verification of all information will be required.   Be prepared to provide verification data during the interview process.  Professional and community leaders can verify periods of unemployment, as long as they are not relatives or personal friends.   Letters (on organizational letterhead) from community leaders, clergy or professionals (teachers, doctors, attorneys, etc.) are acceptable.  The letters must indicate face-to-face interaction between the individuals, to include the beginning and ending dates of contact.   This type of verification may be used for homemakers and retired persons.   Such letters must be mailed directly to the employer, and must be verified with the writer to ensure that the applicant was physically present.   If you were a student, provide the address for the registrar and your dates of attendance.   If you were in the military, please be prepared to provide a copy of your DD-214.

The purpose of this employment history verification is to ensure that the covered individual is who he/she says she is, and to prevent persons convicted of or found guilty by reason of insanity of the listed crimes, from being authorized access into security areas.   The conviction cannot have occurred within the past 10 years.   If a conviction has occurred, the individual mal not be granted access.
